Edge Router VM Sizing Guide

Introduction

Sizing your Edge Router virtual machines (VM) correctly is essential for getting the required throughput from the Edge Router. Administrators should utilize these recommendations for allocation of CPU, RAM, and Disk Storage to allocate to Virtual Machine Instances running the Edge Router on the VM stack of your choice. The suggested bandwidth considers full duplex throughput.

Choose from the following VM stacks:

Cloud instances should have compute optimized these instances need dedicated compute, not burst compute for AWS that means the C-Series and for Azure equivalent would be the F-Series.
