Getting Started with NetFoundry - Video guide to connect app on AWS from an on-prem edge router and an endpoint

 

These 5 videos walk you through the step by step process of connecting an APP in AWS from an on-prem edge router and an endpoint on a remote user laptop.

Part 1 - 

In this video, we will give an overview of NetFoundry. In addition, we will create an account for the platform and build the foundations of a NetFoundry Network. We will build the Network and associated SDN Controller and Fabric transit nodes. These are managed by and placed in NetFoundry cloud tenancy. 

 

Part 2 - 

In this video, we will deploy a NetFoundry Edge Router into a test AWS Cloud VPC. The VPC also contains a Webserver on private IP 172.34.34.53 which we will use the NetFoundry platform to access. The AWS Cloud VPC resides in us-west-2 Oregon, US.

 

Part 3 - 

In this video, we will deploy a NetFoundry Edge Router OVA into an ESXi host in Data Center lab The Data Center lab also contains an IIS Webserver running on private IP 192.168.1.10 which we will use the NetFoundry platform to access. The Data Center lab is located in NC, US.

 

 

Part 4

In this video, we will deploy a NetFoundry Windows version of our Ziti Desktop Edge endpoint software. We will test connectivity to the Data Center lab and AWS Cloud resources from this machine. The test windows 10 PC is located in Azure cloud - N.Virginia.

 

Part 5

In part 5 we will create services for our web servers at each location. We will also create an AppWAN to expose these services to the Demo User endpoint.
