Introduction

 

Manage Roles of an Individual User

  1. Navigate to Organization page by clicking on the org icon Screen_Shot_2020-05-08_at_2.49.07_PM.png in the lower left-hand corner of the page, above your avatar.
  2. Select Manage Users, and choose Edit Roles from the ellipsis menu on the user you want to manage.

In the resulting dialog, you can assign to the user one or more of the following roles:

Role Name Description
Organization Admin This role can manage all organization resources - users, networks, billing
Organization Read-only This role can view all organization resources - users, networks, billing - but not edit or delete
Network Group Admin This role can manage all organization network resources
Network Group Read-only This role can view all organization network resources, but not edit or delete
Contributor Role  A "Contributor" is a user that only has permission to work with resources that they create.  This role can be used when a company wants to grant someone like an external contractor the ability to define a new AppWan, create and add a Service and Endpoints, and so on, but they do not want that contractor to be able to see or otherwise work with existing resources; existing Services, AppWans, Endpoints, etc.
