If you need to connect to systems via RDP, NetFoundry recommends that you do this by creating a separate service for RDP and as a first option you use RDP over TCP.
1. From anywhere in the NetFoundry Console navigate to the Manage Services page, and click the "+"
2. Choose IP Host service
3. Fill out form choosing 3389 as the single port; TCP as the protocol type, and ensure DATA INTERLEAVING under advanced options is turned off.
or if you want a range of ports also choose TCP and you would also want to ensure DATA INTERLEAVING is turned off
If users are not seeing expected performance over the NetFoundry network we recommend changing the protocol to UDP and turning on DATA INTERLEAVING.
1. From anywhere in the NetFoundry Console navigate to the Manage Services page, and click the "+"
2. Choose a IP Host service
3. Fill out form choosing 3389 as the single port; UDP as the protocol type, and ensure DATA INTERLEAVING under advanced options is turned on.
After selecting Create join this service to the AppWAN's that require this service.
or if you want a range of ports choose UDP and you would also want to ensure DATA INTERLEAVING is turned on
If you are still encountering poor performance please request assistance by submitting a ticket.
