How to create an AWS NetApp Cloud Manager Server
Step 1: Please go to your browser and type https://cloud.netapp.com
In the upper right corner, there is an option to sign up or login. If you do not have an account, please use the sign up option. If you do have an account, please click the login button.
Step 2: On the main screen, click Create Cloud Managers .
Step 3: Choose AWS.
Step 4: On the next screen provide Access and Secret key from AWS account. Access keys need to be created in AWS prior to this step.
Step 5: The next screen will request a Cloud Manager name, region, VPC and subnet. VPC and subnet will need to be created prior to this step. Once completed, click continue.
Step 6: The following screen will request AWS key pair, enable public IP and click continue. The key pair will need to be created in AWS prior to this step.
Step 7: You should now see the Security Group screen. For HTTP, HTTPS and SSH click the drop down menu and choose custom, anywhere or My IP. If you do not know, click anywhere then click Go.
Note: It will take a few minutes for the Cloud Manager server instance to boot up in AWS.
