Build an AppWAN to migrate data to a new cloud instance

Use the Cloud Migration AppWAN builder to quickly build an AppWAN that connects two cloud instances together so that data can be quickly and easily transferred from one to the other. The connection is uni-directional, meaning that resources in cloud A are shared with cloud B, but not vice versa. You may connect a public or private cloud instance to another public or private cloud instance in AWS, Azure, or inside of your data center.

Steps required to build a Cloud Migration AppWAN:

  1. Launch the Cloud Migration AppWAN builder;
  2. Give a name to your Cloud Migration AppWAN;
  3. Identify the source cloud;
  4. Identify the destination cloud;
  5. Define the source address space;
  6. Launch cloud gateways;

Define the source cloud address space

Next, define the address space in the source cloud that you want to expose to the destination cloud. Whatever is defined here will be reachable from the gateway in the destination cloud.

You may name the entire /16 address block assigned to your source VPC, or you may choose to be more restrictive by specifying a smaller block, or even individual IP addresses.
