Build an AppWAN using existing components

Introduction

Use this workflow when you want to build an AppWAN from network components that were created previously, i.e. services, clients, gateways, and endpoint groups.

Steps required to build a Cloud Migration AppWAN:

  1. Launch the AppWAN builder;
  2. Define the AppWAN;

Launch the AppWAN builder

  1. Navigate to the Manage AppWANs page;
  2. Click the blue plus-sign icon to create a new AppWAN;
  3. Select the Build Using Existing Components tile;

Define the AppWAN

Within the builder dialog:

  • Give this new AppWAN a unique name on your network;
  • Select the services that define your AppWAN by selecting them from the Available Services box and clicking the right-facing arrow icon;
  • Select the endpoint groups that are authorized to access the AppWAN from the list of Available Groups, and click the right-facing arrow to add them to the authorized endpoints list. All endpoints within the groups will have access to the AppWAN;
  • Select the clients that are authorized to access the AppWAN from the list of Available Clients, and click the right-facing arrow to add them to the authorized endpoints list;
  • Select the gateways that are authorized to access the AppWAN from the list of Available Gateways, and click the right-facing arrow to add them to the authorized endpoints list;

When you're finished, click the blue Create button to create your AppWAN.
